SSL (secure socket layer) remains a commonly used protocol for managing the security of a message transmission on the Internet. Tracking browser usage of SSL pages with accuracy and integrity requires specialized hardware and adherence to strict privacy and security procedures. Using JavaScript code specifically designed for encrypted pages, Site Measurement's SSL Page Measurement module transparently measures these pages, allowing clients to unobtrusively monitor transactions on the most valuable sections of their Web site.
Less rigorous third-party hosted measurement services cause messages warning the user that secure and non-secure elements exist on the page- an often unacceptable situation during the online commerce purchase process. To remove this message, Site Measurement offers an SSL version of its code. This is identical in functionality to Site Measurement, with one difference - the requests are handled in an encrypted environment (SSL). The browser will no longer display this message, boosting the confidence levels of your visitors and improving the customer experience.

| Report offered in SSL Page Measurement:
|
SSL Impressions Details the number of secure socket layer page impressions. This report is available as a value-added module. Use this report to track traffic of SSL pages on your site and remove the "secure message" that appears when entering a secured page. For example, a banking site can monitor the traffic from secure credit card pages, such as monthly statements and billing information.
